Beltangady, Jan 29: A 36-year-old man staying in a rented house on Church Road in Beltangady has gone missing under mysterious circumstances.
The missing person has been identified as Roshan Kiran D’Souza (36), a native of Mavinakatte Devasya house in Kukkipady village of Bantwal taluk. He was currently residing in a rented house on Church Road, Beltangady, and was working as a pickup vehicle driver.
According to the complaint, Roshan had informed his wife, who was in Bengaluru, that he would be travelling there on January 25. He reportedly boarded a bus that morning stating he was heading to Bengaluru. However, he did not reach the city by evening and did not respond to phone calls. Later, he sent a WhatsApp message to his wife stating that he would not be around.

Alarmed by the message, his wife rushed to Beltangady and checked the rented house, where she found that her husband was not present. Enquiries with neighbours also yielded no information about his whereabouts, confirming that he was missing.
A case has been registered at the Beltangady police station in this regard. Police have appealed to the public to inform the Beltangady police station if anyone has any information or clues about the missing person.
