Sanatan Premier League aims to shape India’s youth through cricket from Mar 13

Media Release

New Delhi, Jan 17: In today’s fast-moving world, young people are deeply involved in sports, technology, and modern lifestyles. While this change brings energy and innovation, it has also created a growing distance between many youths and their cultural roots and values. Understanding this concern, a meaningful initiative called the Bharat Sanatan Premier League (SPL) is being launched to reconnect young minds with culture, discipline, and social responsibility through cricket.

This initiative goes beyond just a cricket tournament. Its aim is to strengthen youth physically, mentally, and spiritually. The organizers believe that sports are one of the most powerful ways to deliver positive messages to the younger generation.

Three-day national-level tournament in Indore

The Bharat Sanatan Premier League (SPL) will be held in Indore from March 13 to 15, 2026. SANATAN CRICKET CLUB LLP is organizing this three-day national cricket tournament. According to the organizers, SPL is being conducted as a National Pride Cricket Tournament.

The event will take place under the spiritual guidance of Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj, who is the patron of this league. The presence of saints and spiritual leaders is expected to inspire players to adopt self-control, discipline, and strong life values.

Eight teams from across India to participate

A total of eight teams from different states of India will take part in SPL. Each team is named after great warriors and national heroes so that players can draw inspiration from their courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.

Sardar Bhagat Singh Brigade - Punjab
Rani Lakshmibai Strikers - Uttar Pradesh

Before the final match, a special friendly match will also be organized, symbolizing unity, harmony, and true sportsmanship.

Player trials begin from February 2 in eight cities

Player trials for SPL 2026 will start from February 2, 2026, and will be conducted across eight cities. Talented players will be selected during these trials to represent different teams.

Purpose behind the Bharat Sanatan Premier League

The main objective of SPL is to strengthen discipline, teamwork, and positive thinking among youth. Through cricket, young players will learn that success in life must go hand in hand with values and ethics.

The league also aims to keep youth away from harmful habits such as drugs, gambling, and betting by guiding them towards sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Tournament funds to be used for social welfare

All funds received from organizers and sponsors will be used entirely for social services. This money will support people affected by floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.

The funds will also help financially weak families, acid attack survivors, underprivileged children’s education, and families facing serious illnesses.

Supporting Fit India and Khelo India initiatives

The SPL will actively promote national campaigns like Fit India and Khelo India, encouraging fitness, teamwork, and sports culture among youth.

According to the organizers, the Bharat Sanatan Premier League is not just a cricket tournament but a movement aimed at creating positive change.
