Udupi, Jan 8: Actor and director Prakash Raj said it would be good if Chief Minister Siddaramaiah exercised stronger control over the administration.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference held here on January 8, he said, “Allegations of corruption against people close to the chief minister do not bring credit to the office, and therefore such issues should be set right to ensure transparent governance.”

Commenting on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah becoming one of the longest-serving chief ministers of the state, Prakash Raj said that records are made by everyone and there is nothing unusual about it.
Prakash Raj remarked that the era of Devaraj Urs was different and the era of Siddaramaiah is different. “Siddaramaiah is a good AHINDA leader and deserves congratulations. But I am not someone who merely praises; I ask questions. We are not a political party, but a constant opposition,” he said.
He added that he does not have the habit of looking back in life. “My goal is to keep moving forward. The journey of life is very important,” Prakash Raj said.
Responding to questions about his upcoming films, Prakash Raj said he is acting in several projects, including Rajamouli’s Varanasi, Purushavatara, actor Vijay’s Jananayagan, and the Hindi film Drishyam 3.
