Annual general body meeting of KMYA Riyadh elects Sulaiman Sharif as president

Riyadh, Jan 6: The annual general body meeting of the Riyadh unit of the Katipalla Muslim Youth Association (KMYA) was held in Riyadh on Friday, January 2, 2026, following the Jumu’ah prayer.

The meeting was conducted under the distinguished chairmanship of president P S Abdul Azeez. The proceedings began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ismail Katipalla.

Former president of the KMYA Riyadh unit, Abdul Jabbar, extended a warm welcome to all members present at the meeting.

Secretary Saifulla Mahin presented the annual report, while Sulaiman presented the activity report. Both reports were discussed and unanimously approved by the members.

Vice president Anwar Hussain, along with founder and senior member Hasan Bava, were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, president Abdul Azeez commended the members for their dedicated efforts toward the growth and progress of KMYA. He urged the newly formed committee to assume greater responsibility and work with commitment for the organization’s future development.

The new committee was constituted under the leadership of former Dammam unit president B M Rafiq and organiser Saifula Mohiuddin.
