Mangaluru, Dec 29: The 40th annual grand event of the Expert Pre University College 'Expert Day’, was celebrated commemorating the founder’s day of the institution. Shri Ullas Kamath, Founder, UK and Co., International Management Guru was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering he expressed his delight in participating in the annual day of a trail blazer institution, Expert. He emphasized that courage, character, commitment and competence are the essential elements of success in life. Along with getting better grades, students should also acquaint themselves with knowledge, wisdom and common sense . He said that India is the fastest growing economy and will be the best country in the next twenty-five years, the youths will be able to build their future here and contribute towards their country.
Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert Group of Institutions presided over the function. He encouraged the students to derive inspiration from rank holders who were felicitated on the occasion for their achievements. He hoped that the students of Expert would be great assets to the country.
Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice chairperson, Expert Group of Institutions delivered keynote address and stated that Expert Day is the celebration of hard work and success of students and every staff.
All the rank holders and achievers during previous academic year were felicitated on the occasion. Outstanding students of the current academic year were awarded. Ujwal Shivanand Boodihal won the 'Expert Super Star 2025' award while Ankit Ashok Dodwad received the 'Expert Scholastics Award 2025’ and Gautham G won the ‘Expert Non-Scholastic Award 2025'.
Earlier in the day, Dr Shivabasava Swami, an alumnus of Expert and a noted gynaecologist inaugurated the Expert Day celebrations and distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. Dr Divakar N R, gynaecologist also a chief guest on the occasion and gave away the prizes. Shyamprasad , AICE head read out the names of the rank holders and Dhruthi V Hegde, vice principal (Administration) hosted the Expert Star Awards ceremony.
Ankush N Nayak- IT director, CA S. S. Nayak, Prof. Ramachandra Bhat- principal, kodialbail campus, student council office bearers Mohammad Ameen, Bhavish Benaka and H. K. Bhavyatha were present on occasion.
Dr N K Vijayan Karippal- principal introduced the chief guest and accorded a warm welcome to the dignitaries. Subramanya Udupa- vice principal and program director proposed vote of thanks.
A cultural extravaganza followed the formal function. Students Dhyan, Bipin Ramesh, Sthuthi Kulkarni, Mokshith Sai, S.K. Mohammad Saad, Sumukh M and Charvi hosted skilfully.
