Bahrain, Dec 14: Konkan Singers Club (KSC) Bahrain, one of the oldest and most vibrant expatriate social clubs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, hosted a pre-christmas party and annual day celebration on Thursday, December 11, at The Olive Hotel, Juffair. The joyous evening witnessed enthusiastic participation from club members along with their families, making it a truly memorable celebration of the festive season.
The fun-filled evening commenced with a warm welcome by the young, graceful, and energetic master of ceremonies, Eunice D’Souza, who set the perfect tone for the celebrations.













































The programme began on a melodious note with beautiful Christmas carol singing by the club’s talented children. The choir was meticulously trained and guided by Reema D’Souza and Shanthi Noronha, whose efforts were highly appreciated by the audience. The children then joyfully welcomed the Man of the Season – Santa Claus, who spread cheer by distributing gifts and chocolates, bringing smiles and excitement to the little ones.
The event continued with an inspiring presidential address by the club’s energetic president, Ivon Sujay Pinto. He highlighted the club’s activities, encouraged members to actively participate in future events, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members, sponsors, and well-wishers for their continued support.
This was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony and the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the club’s sponsors and supporters by executive committee members of the Club. On this special occasion, the club also honoured Alexander Victor, a long-term member and an active contributor, for his dedicated involvement in club activities.
Adding to the excitement were games for children and a lively novelty dance for couples. The entertainment segment featured captivating dance performances by Dance Express, choreographed by Eunice D’Souza, and the Shining Stars Dance Crew, choreographed by Preetham Acharya, which received thunderous applause.
The celebrations further included a membership draw and raffle draw, where lucky winners walked away with exciting gifts, couple food vouchers, and Christmas Kuswar vouchers generously sponsored by Mysore Bhavan Restaurant and Desi Spice Restaurant, Bahrain.
The vote of thanks was delivered by general secretary Avinash Fernandes, acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of the event. Guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet dinner served by The Olive Hotel, Bahrain.
The lively atmosphere continued with music by DJ Francis, whose wonderful selection kept the crowd energised, with members enthusiastically joining in for traditional Baila dance. The memorable moments of the evening were beautifully captured by Reuben D’Souza.
The Christmas and Annual Day celebration of Konkan Singers Club Bahrain concluded on a high note, reinforcing the spirit of unity, culture, and festive joy among the Konkan community in Bahrain.
