Mangaluru, Dec 2: In an incident reported outside the Moodushedde gram panchayat (GP) office, a mother was allegedly assaulted by her daughter, prompting the Women’s Protection Forum to step in and file a complaint against the daughter, Netravathi.
The organisation stated that the complaint was lodged with the intention of securing justice for Nirmala, a senior citizen. Social activist Ramita Suryavamshi and Hindu Jagarana district executive committee member Deekshith were present on the occasion.
A video of the daughter assaulting her mother had gone viral on social media.
