Kundapur: Two found in distressed condition rescued

Kundapur, Nov 30: A woman and a man found in a helpless condition due to mental distress near the Trasi bus stand and the beachside highway under Gangolli police station limits were rescued on the instructions of Gangolli police station sub-inspector Pavan Nayak.

The rescue operation was carried out by staff members Raju Nayak, woman staffer Vimal, and Ibrahim Gangolli, who safely shifted both individuals from the roadside. They were sent through Team MHI ambulance, Gangolli, to the Hosabettu Ashram near Udupi for shelter and rehabilitation.

Lipton Oliveira of Trasi, Vikas Mogaveera Naikawadi, Wilson Rebello of Gangolli, Khazi Samiulla, and others extended their support during the operation.

Vinayachandra Sastana and Rajashree from the ashram warmly welcomed the rescued individuals into their care.
