Mangaluru, Nov 25: Daijiworld.com, the leading global media platform for the coastal Karnataka diaspora, is gearing up for a landmark celebration — its 25th anniversary — with the launch of the fourth season of its iconic beauty pageant, Hyssna Miss Daijiworld 2026.

Responding to overwhelming public demand, the organisers have extended the deadline for entries to December 4, 2025. Many aspiring participants had requested additional time to produce better-quality photographs and introduction videos, prompting the extension.

Open to women aged 16 to 32 from the coastal belt of Karnataka residing anywhere in the world, the contest continues to be a respected platform for showcasing beauty, confidence, and talent. This edition also marks a grand revival after a decade, with previous seasons held during Daijiworld’s 5th (2005), 10th (2010), and 15th (2015) anniversaries.

Powered once again by Hyssna International LLC, Abu Dhabi — a long-standing supporter of the event and sponsor of Seasons 2 and 3 — the pageant carries forward its legacy of uplifting and empowering young women.

Attractive Prizes and Opportunity

The winner of Miss Daijiworld 2026 will receive:

• A cash prize of Rs 3 lac

• The prestigious Miss Daijiworld crown

• An exclusive opportunity to serve as the Brand Ambassador of Daijiworld Group of Media for the year 2026

The first runner-up will receive Rs 2 lac, while the second runner-up will be awarded Rs 1 lac. Finalists will also be honoured with attractive gift hampers, vouchers, and special recognitions.

Selection rounds and grand finale

From the total entries received, 25 participants will be shortlisted for the selection round in Mangaluru on December 14, 2025. On the same day, eight finalists will be chosen to compete in the grand finale, scheduled for February 14, 2026, in Mangaluru.

The finale, part of Daijiworld’s 25th anniversary celebrations, is expected to be a grand gathering attended by celebrities, dignitaries, media personalities, and guests from around the world.

• 2005: Melita Pinto won the first-ever Miss Daijiworld title from over 400 entries.

• 2010: Anjali Shetty of Mangaluru claimed the crown from an impressive 1,200+ participants.

• 2015: Jessica Fernandes won Season 3, reinforcing the pageant’s prominence and trustworthiness.
