Oman partners with airbus to launch first communications satellite

Muscat, Nov 23: Oman signed an agreement with Airbus on Sunday to design, manufacture, and launch the sultanate’s first communications satellite, the state news agency reported.

The satellite is expected to strengthen Oman’s communications infrastructure and enhance the country’s capabilities in space and future technologies, the report added.
