Gaza rescuer sends prayers & peace to war-torn Sudan

Gaza, Nov 9: Mohammed Abu Loay, a Palestinian civil defence worker in Gaza, has shared a heartfelt message of solidarity with the people of war-ravaged Sudan, expressing sorrow over the violence and displacement in the country’s Darfur region.

In a video message circulating on social media, Abu Loay said his thoughts and prayers were with the people of el-Fasher, a city in western Darfur that has witnessed mass killings and large-scale displacement since falling to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) last month.

“It’s heartbreaking,” he said, describing the suffering of civilians caught in the conflict. “Our hearts are with you,” he added, sending “prayers and peace” from Gaza to Sudan.

The message has resonated with viewers worldwide, highlighting a shared sense of grief and empathy between people enduring war and loss in both Gaza and Sudan.
