Paris, Nov 5: German giants Bayern Munich extended their incredible winning streak to 16 matches after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes on Sunday night. Despite being reduced to ten men late in the first half, Bayern showcased immense grit and defensive discipline to secure the win.
Luis Diaz was the star of the show, scoring both goals for Bayern before being controversially sent off just before halftime. The Colombian forward struck first with a poacher’s finish and doubled the lead with a clinical effort, proving unstoppable until his dismissal. PSG pulled one back through substitute Joao Neves, but Bayern’s defence held firm under intense pressure.

At the back, Dayot Upamecano delivered a stellar performance, marshalling Bayern’s defence with authority. His timely tackles and clearances earned him praise as one of the best performers on the pitch.
The night, however, belonged to Manuel Neuer. The 39-year-old goalkeeper rolled back the years with a commanding display, pulling off eight crucial saves to keep PSG at bay. His heroics ensured Bayern left Paris with all three points.
While Bayern’s midfield pairing of Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic remained quietly effective, it was Neuer’s brilliance and Diaz’s decisive goals that sealed the match.
With this victory, Bayern Munich continue their dominant run across all competitions, showing resilience and unity even in the face of adversity.
