Udupi, Nov 4: The inauguration of His Grace Beach Avenue – Phase 1 (Event Venue & Stay) and the foundation stone laying ceremony for phase 2 were held on November 1 at Malpe, Udupi.
The newly developed His Grace Beach Avenue – Event Venue & Stay was inaugurated by Sahakara Ratna Anil Lobo Fermai, chairman, MCC Bank. The blessing ceremony was conducted by Fr Denis D’Sa in the presence of Thottam parishioners and well-wishers.
Following the inauguration, the foundation stone for phase 2 – His Grace Beach Avenue Resort rooms was blessed by Fr Denis D’Sa and ceremoniously laid.


























His Grace Homestays and Resorts, recognised by the tourism department, Government of Karnataka, has been a trusted name in quality homestays in Udupi since 2015. The brand recently celebrated its 10th anniversary on March 3 with the inauguration of Home 2 by His Grace, officiated by Walter Nandalike.
With the launch of its new event space and stay, His Grace Beach Avenue — located close to Malpe Beach — now offers an open-air venue with a seating capacity of 400 to 450 guests, ideal for all types of events.
Other properties managed by the His Grace Group include His Grace Beach Cottages, His Grace Beach Camping, His Grace Premium Homestay, His Grace Holiday Homes, and Home 2 by His Grace. All these properties are well-rated and continue to serve tourists visiting the coastal town of Malpe.
On the occasion, Fr Denis D’Sa appreciated the dedication and hard work of Oneil D’Souza and family in establishing several guest houses around Udupi, catering to the growing number of tourists. He lauded Oneil D’Souza for his contribution to the Church and society, describing him as a role model for many.
Sahakara Ratna Anil Lobo Fermai, in his address, commended the D’Souza family’s consistent efforts towards promoting tourism and acknowledged Oneil D’Souza’s support to MCC Bank, particularly during the inauguration of its Santhekatte branch.
Oneil D’Souza, Priti D’Souza, and their children Leann and Lenora D’Souza graced the event along with Nanu Marol (Thottam), Dr Nery Cornelio, the Board of Directors of MCC Bank, and other distinguished guests.
