Dubai, Oct 31: In line with the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025, Salik has announced updated toll charges for participants and commuters on the day of the Dubai Ride, one of the city’s largest community fitness events. The revised toll rates, applicable on Sunday, November 2, aim to ensure smooth traffic management across key routes while enhancing the overall driving experience.
According to Salik, the temporary toll adjustment is part of its broader strategy to support major public events and maintain road efficiency during high-traffic periods. The toll rates have been revised based on peak and low-peak hours for the day of the Dubai Ride.

Revised toll rates for November 2:
During peak hours, from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, the toll will be Dh6, and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, it will be Dh4.
During low-peak hours, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 1:00 am, the toll will remain Dh4.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), @Salik_ae stated that the decision is part of its continued efforts to provide a “smart mobility experience” and maintain a seamless flow of traffic during large-scale community events.
Dubai Ride 2025: A highlight of the fitness challenge
The sixth edition of the Dubai Ride will take place on Sheikh Zayed Road, starting at 6:15 am on Sunday. Thousands of cyclists are expected to participate, making it one of the key highlights of the month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from November 1 to 30, 2025. The initiative encourages residents and visitors to stay active while enjoying Dubai’s well-managed urban infrastructure.
Promoting smart mobility and community engagement
Salik’s revised toll structure reflects its active role in supporting Dubai’s smart mobility and urban planning initiatives. By balancing event participation with traffic control, Salik ensures that both cyclists and regular commuters experience minimal disruption.
This proactive step aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of integrating technology, efficiency, and sustainability in its transport systems while fostering community participation in healthy, active lifestyles.
