Mangaluru, Oct 22: Adding more colour and joy to the Navaratri festival, Daijiworld TV has been organizing saree competitions for several years. Continuing this cherished tradition, the 2025 Navarangi Saree Video Contest, sponsored by Nuthan Cloth Centre, Madanthyar, was held from September 22 to 30, and the prize distribution ceremony for the winners was held at Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd on October 22.
Women from across the region enthusiastically participated by wearing sarees in nine different colors over nine days and sending their video entries. The event concluded with prizes being distributed to the winning teams, including the presentation of two bumper prizes to the top-performing groups.















Among the winners, Team Madhurya, Bantwal, who sent videos regularly for all nine days following the contest guidelines, bagged the First Bumper Prize, while the Second Bumper Prize went to Varini Vrinda, Mangaluru, and the Third Bumper Prize was won by Ashleen Priya and team from Kasargod.
Prizes were also awarded to winners for each colour day.
White Saree: Navarangi Stars of Kokkada
Red Saree: Team Madhurya, Bantwal
Blue Saree: Stars of Agnes, Mangaluru
Yellow Saree: Varini Vrinda, Mangaluru
Green Saree: Ashleen Priya and team, Kasargod
Grey Saree: Shri Rasthu and team, Shaktinagar
Orange Saree: Shruthi and Kadenji Family, Kadaba
Pink Saree: Anusha and team, Bikarnakatte
Violet Saree: Poornima and group, Barepadi
The awards were presented by Daijiworld Group founder Walter Nandalike, marketing manager Praveen Tauro, and production manager Prashanth C K.
Speaking on the occasion, members of Team Madhurya and Variini Vrinda, who bagged the bumper prizes, expressed their happiness and gratitude for being part of the vibrant Navarangi Saree Video Contest.
Daijiworld production director Stany Bela, cameramen Kiran Kotiyan and Shivaprasad Yeyyadi, hosts Manasa Madival and Sakshi Shetty, along with staff members, were present.
For decades, Nuthan Cloth Centre, Madanthyar, has been one of the most loved and trusted clothing stores. By sponsoring the Navarangi Saree Contest, they have added more colour and excitement to this year’s Navaratri celebrations, spreading joy among women across the region.
