Fort Worth, Oct 13: Two people died after a small plane crashed into parked semi-trucks near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, Texas, sparking a fire that drew emergency responders from across the region.
The crash occurred around 1:30 pm local time in a parking lot, igniting several vehicles and a nearby commercial building. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 35 minutes, according to Fort Worth Fire Department.

Witnesses described a ‘giant ball of fire’ at the scene. Officials confirmed both victims were pronounced dead at the site.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the crash involving a Beech King Air C90 twin-engine aircraft. Further details about the incident are yet to be released.
