Palestinian state recognition won’t bind Israel, says Netanyahu

Daijiworld Media Network – Jerusalem

Jerusalem, Sep 25: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday rejected recent moves by some Western nations to recognise a Palestinian state, declaring that such decisions “will not bind Israel in any way.”

“A Palestinian state will not arise,” Netanyahu’s office posted on X, firmly opposing the diplomatic shift.

The statement comes as dozens of world leaders gathered at the United Nations on Monday to express support for Palestinian statehood—a move gaining momentum nearly two years into the Gaza war but facing strong opposition from both Israel and its close ally, the United States.
