Kundapur: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology holds induction programme

Kundapur, Sep 18: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur (MITK) held an induction programme for first year students.

Dr Ratan Muralidhar, assistant director, Government Tech KPMG India, was the chief guest of the programme. 

Dr Ratan Muralidhar inaugurated the programme. He encouraged the students and said, "As a student, identify the problems around you and use your skills to solve them, and in that spirit, keep trying."

The deans of various departments spoke and explained about the facilities available in the college, training provided by the placement department and other issues.

Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, director, Brand Building, college, presided over the function and said that students are now not just individuals but representatives of our institution and he spoke about the importance of maintaining discipline, developing a strong personal brand and working on soft skills like leadership, confidence and emotional intelligence. He encouraged the students to participate in extra-curricular activities, clubs, workshops and events that contribute to their overall development.

Parents and students present also shared their views.

Students Ishrat and Minaj compered the programme. Final year student Supreeta welcomed the gathering and Anish Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.

First year students, parents, and staff were present at the programme. During the one-week induction programme, training was provided by experienced resource persons in various departments such as university policy, research, technology, art, English language, etc.
