Mangaluru, Sep 7: Daijiworld TV celebrated the 100th episode of its popular show Nammora Maastru on September 5 at the Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education, Mangaluru.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Ronald Silvan D’Souza of Leksa Lighting, Fr Sudeep Paul, director of Sandesha, Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld media, and Stany Bela, production director of Daijiworld TV.

As part of the programme, 50 retired teachers were honoured, along with the crew members of the show. Walter Nandalike shared amusing stories from his school days, which delighted the audience. On the occasion, Ronald Silvan D’Souza presented a unique memento symbolizing ‘Namaste,’ under the Leksa brand, to Mahalinga Bhat, one of the oldest teachers present. The gesture filled not only the recipient but also all the senior teachers with joy, making the moment truly special.
The host of the programme, Chetan Shetty, emphasized that Nammora Maastru is not about television ratings or TRP. “We don’t look at TRP. What we see is their struggle, their happiness, and the smiles on their faces. This programme is about showing the world how great people exist among us, even if they remain unnoticed,” he said.
In conclusion, the organisers expressed gratitude to all who supported the journey, especially acknowledging the Daijiworld team for their significant contribution to the success of 100 episodes.
