Mumbai, Aug 14: Actor Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her roles in Bollywood classics and as a contestant in Bigg Boss 18, has accused a private bus company of shirking responsibility after one of its buses rammed into her car in Mumbai.

The incident occurred earlier this week, leaving visible damage to Shirodkar’s vehicle. The actor, sister-in-law of South superstar Mahesh Babu, took to Instagram to share photos of the damaged car and a strongly worded note calling out Cityflo officials.

“A Cityflo bus ran into my car today. And the people representing the office in Mumbai… are telling me it’s not their company’s responsibility, it’s the driver’s responsibility. How ruthless are these guys? How much can a driver be earning!” she wrote, naming company representatives Yogesh Kadam and Vilas Mankote.

While thanking the Mumbai Police for swiftly helping her file a complaint, Shirodkar alleged that the company has so far refused to engage with her on the matter. “Thankfully my staff is fine and unhurt, but anything could have happened,” she said.

Shirodkar made her film debut in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar (1989) and went on to star in popular titles such as Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Pehchaan, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam, and Mrityudand. She recently gained renewed fame after her stint in Bigg Boss 18.

On the work front, she will next be seen in the Telugu film Jatadhara and is also shooting for the biopic Shankar – The Revolutionary Man, where she plays Aramba, the mother of Adi Shankaracharya.
