New leadership at Milagres College - Dr Alwyn Serrao takes charge as principal

Mangaluru, Aug 1: A warm welcome was extended to the newly appointed principal of Milagres College, Mangaluru Dr Alwyn Serrao on Wednesday, July 31.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, the correspondent of the Milagres Educational Institution, expressed his best wishes, stating that the institution has achieved remarkable progress year after year, and with the new principal at the helm, it is bound to reach even greater heights.

Dr Alwyn Serrao, the new principal, addressed the gathering and said, “A new chapter begins with new challenges. For the future of the institution, we must all move forward together.”

The outgoing principal, Dr Michael Santhumayor, formally welcomed the new principal.

Also present at the programme were Melwyn Vas, principal of Milagres Pre-University College, and Fr Uday Fernandes, principal of Milagres Central School, Diana Lobo, principal Milagres College of Nursing.

Chethana Kumari, the IQAC coordinator, presented a report about the institution. Vice principal Glencia Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks, and lecturer Shamitha compered the programme.
