Mangaluru, Jul 30: The much-anticipated Tulu film ‘Pili Panja’, directed and written by Bharat Shetty and produced under the banner of Shiyan Productions by young producer Prateek U Poojary, will now release on December 12 instead of the earlier scheduled date of November 7.
The release was postponed to avoid a clash with ‘Jai’, another Tulu film directed by Rock Star Roopesh Shetty, which is set to hit screens on November 14. Considering the healthy spirit of collaboration in the Tulu film industry, the Pili Panja team took the decision to shift the release date.
Welcoming the move, director Roopesh Shetty said, “Rescheduling the release is a positive development. The Pili Panja team has made a thoughtful decision, and we, the Jai movie team, extend our full support to them. We urge all cinema lovers to support Pili Panja and help make it a success.”
