Udupi: Sharada Residential School Student Council Inauguration ceremony held

Udupi, Jul 28: The inauguration ceremony of the Student Council of Sharada Residential School, Udupi was held on July 26 with grandeur and enthusiasm.

Dr P Gaurishankar, director of Kalinga Foundation, Shivamogga, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of leading a life of peace and discipline without being overwhelmed by anxiety. He stated, “Protecting nature is paramount, and the choice of what you want to become in life is entirely yours.”

Vidyavantha Acharya, director, Sharada Residential School, lauded the achievements of the chief guest, while principal Vincent D’Costa administered the oath of office to the newly elected Student Council members.

Mokshit was sworn in as the head boy, Shrigowri as the head girl, and Neeraj as the assistant leader, along with their respective team members.

Principal Vincent D’Costa welcomed the gathering. Head girl Shrigowri delivered the vote of thanks. The program was efficiently compered by students Arjunanand and Poorvi.

The program concluded with a cultural performance by the students.

The event witnessed the presence of vice principal Vinutha Acharya, primary school headmistress Irene Jevitha, and Sharada PU College principal Vikram Dev Prabhu.
