Teaser of much-awaited Konkani film Bapache Putache Navim sparks audience curiosity

Mangaluru, July 16: The teaser of the much-anticipated Konkani film Bapache Putache Navim (BPN) has sparked curiosity among audiences with its emotional and sentimental undertones. The 1-minute 15-second teaser introduces viewers to a poignant family conflict, delicately woven into a narrative of loneliness and longing.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Stany Bela—known for his creative storytelling and attention to detail—the teaser showcases cinematic finesse in every frame. Even with limited shots, it offers glimpses of the film's visual richness and emotional depth, hinting at a compelling cinematic experience.

Produced by Micheal D’Souza under the Vision Konkani Project for Daijiworld Films, BPN brings together a team of seasoned professionals. Joel Shaman’s cinematography captures magical moments with precision, while Sanjay Rodrigues makes a notable debut in film music with a rich and evocative background score. SFX has been handled by Loy Valentine, with editing by Sharath Hegde and Kevin Mascarenhas. Arjun Lewis serves as the executive producer.

The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Sweedal D’Souza, Dayan D’Souza, Ron London, Joshal D’Souza, Sunita Menezes, Mellu Valencia, Rita Fernandes, Sapna Saldanha, Melwyn Kalakul, Vinutha D’Souza, Eddie Sequeira, John M Permannur, Walter Nandalike, Jancy Fernandes and others.

Renowned poet and lyricist Melvyn Rodrigues has penned the songs, with vocals by Shilpa Cutinha, Joshal D’Souza, and Loy Valentine. Neel Casmith of Daijiworld Studio is the sound engineer.

Bapache Putache Navim is set for a global theatrical release in November 2025.
