St Charles PU College shines at Rotary Club inter-collegiate debate competition

Bengaluru, Jun 30: St Charles PU College added another feather to its cap as its talented students clinched the first prize at the prestigious Rotary Club of Bangalore Cantonment inter-collegiate debate competition, held on Saturday, June 28.

The winning team, comprising Kirthana G (Proposal), Kezia Carol Jose (Rebuttal) and Umme Hani (Conclusion), impressed the judges with their eloquence, composure, and persuasive arguments, securing a cash prize of Rs 45,000.

The triumphant performance was achieved under the able leadership of principal Dr Sr Nancy Cutinho and the encouraging guidance of vice principal Sr Elizabeth Leo, whose unwavering support helped shape the students' preparation and performance.

The event witnessed participation from reputed institutions across the city, but it was the team from St Charles that stood out with their clarity of thought and powerful articulation.

In a statement, the college hailed the team as “Champions of expression,” praising their ability to inspire and influence through words.

With this achievement, the college once again reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing intellectual excellence and holistic development among its students.
