Jerusalem, Jun 22: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday lauded US President Donald Trump for launching airstrikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities, calling it a historic moment that could reshape the future of the Middle East.
In an official statement and video address, Netanyahu termed the strikes on Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow nuclear sites as a ‘pivot of history.’ He said, “Congratulations President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran's nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history.”

Netanyahu added that the US had demonstrated unmatched global power through the strikes. “It has done what no other country on earth could do. History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world's most dangerous regime the world's most dangerous weapons,” he said.
The Israeli Prime Minister also echoed his long-standing phrase shared with Trump, “Peace through strength,” stating, “First comes strength, then comes peace. And tonight, President Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength.”
Responding to Netanyahu’s praise, President Trump in his White House address acknowledged the strong US-Israel coordination. “I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu. We worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before,” Trump said.
The US President went on to commend the Israeli military, stating, “We’ve gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they’ve done.”
Speaking to an Israeli reporter before his address, Trump assured, “Your Israel is safer now,” referring to the strikes that targeted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
The dramatic escalation in military action comes amid a deepening conflict between Israel and Iran, with both countries exchanging strikes and rhetoric over Tehran’s alleged nuclear weapons ambitions.
