Mangaluru, Jun 21: Following the massive success of ‘Kallza Umalle’, Floyd D'Mello Cascia is gearing up to present ‘Kallza Umalle 2.0’, a Konkani musical concert, on August 15 at St Agnes Centenary Auditorium.
The poster launch event for Kallza Umalle 2.0 was held at Don Bosco Hall, Mangaluru, on June 21. NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael D'Souza released the poster in the presence of well-wishers, supporters, and the Kallza Umalle team.

















Michael D'Souza wished Floyd all the best, stating, "We all gathered here today in love for our mother tongue, Konkani. It is heartening to see people come together to celebrate and promote our language. We must never forget our roots and our parents, who instilled in us the love for Konkani. Whenever we get opportunities to serve our language, we must seize them. I am thrilled to be part of Kallza Umalle 2.0 and thank Floyd and his family for this wonderful initiative."
Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld media, praised Floyd's dedication and said, "We all witnessed the first chapter of Kallza Umalle, which was accepted by people with wholehearted enthusiasm. Floyd never takes decisions without consulting experts, and today he has called upon us to support him with our ideas and blessings. Roy Castelino, PRO, Mangalore diocese, added, "There are many Konkani events happening in and around the Konkan region, which is a good sign for our language. The young generation is coming forward with unique ideas, and they need support from organizations and individuals. Floyd is one such person who always thinks of events in Konkani. Proper publicity for Kallza Umalle will surely bring more crowd to the auditorium. I wish the team all the best."
Other notable attendees, including Manu Bantwal, well-known emcee, Stany Bela, writer, and Lenet Castelino, retired head constable, expressed their views on the concert.
Floyd D'Mello outlined the planning and introduced the artistes. He explained the meaning of tagline ‘Sparsh Sangeet Swarancho’ and spoken about the intension of the event.
The event commenced with a prayer invocation by Fr Rocky D'Cunha, OFM, president of KNS, followed by a prayer song sung by Rolston Pinto.
Santhosh Sequeira, Richard Moras, Jerry Bondel, Sanjay Rodrigues, Deliya Ivin Crasta and other known personalities of Konkani entertainment industry were present.
