Gajanan Cricketers is a cinematic tribute to this grassroots version of the game, celebrating the cricket that thrives in the gullies and hearts of millions. For the first time in Indian cinema, this beloved format is being brought to the silver screen through the upcoming Tulu-language film Gajanan Cricketers.
Adding to the excitement is the film’s ensemble cast, which includes some of the most celebrated names in the Tulu film and theatre industry: Vineeth Kumar, Anvitha Sagar, Samatha Ameen, Prajwal Shetty, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Umesh Mijar, Walter Nandalike, and Sachin Mada.

The film is produced under the banner of Prajwal Films by Prajwal Shetty, with Rohan Vamanjoor and Santosh Lad as co-producers. It is directed by Keerthan Bhandari, with dialogues written by Prasanna Shetty Bailur. Vinuth K Suvarna is the director of photography, Srujan Kumar has composed the music, and editing is handled by Sujay Shivaram and Kaushik Bhandari.
