Mangaluru, June 3: The Mangaluru city CCB police have arrested another accused in connection with the murder of Suhas Shetty that took place within the jurisdiction of Bajpe police station.
The arrest is related to the case reported on May 1, wherein Suhas Shetty was murdered in Bajpe. The arrested person is accused of conspiring in the murder along with the prime accused and of aiding them in evading arrest.

The arrested has been identified as Abdul Razak (59), son of late Bava Abdul Rehman, resident of near Badriya Juma Masjid, Shantigudde, Bajpe, Mangaluru; currently residing at Flat No. 605, 313 Apartment, Kenjaru, Mangaluru.
He is the father of one of the prime accused, Mohammed Muzammil, and the father-in-law of another accused, Naushad Vamanjoor alias Chotte Naushad. Razak is said to have conspired with them and other accused at his residence and assisted them in going into hiding after the murder.
The investigation into the murder is ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining accused involved in the case.
