Mangaluru, May 25: Safwan Junaid, a resident of Mangaluru, has been graciously granted the opportunity to perform Hajj this year (1446 AH) as part of the prestigious Guest Program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The program is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and extends invitations to distinguished pilgrims from across the world.

Safwan is scheduled to depart for the Holy Lands on May 28, as part of the hosted delegation of Indian pilgrims. Prior to the departure, a formal farewell ceremony will be held on May 27 at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi. The event will be organised under the patronage of the Saudi embassy and its religious attaché office.
The selection is regarded as a significant honour, reflecting the spiritual and diplomatic outreach of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
