MIT Kundapura students visit Divine Park and Spandana Rehabilitation Centre as part of UHV programme

Media Release

Kundapura, May 20: As part of the Universal Human Values (UHV) programme, second-year CSE data science students of MIT Kundapura undertook a meaningful educational and humanitarian visit to Divine Park and the Spandana Rehabilitation Centre.

The visit to Divine Park was an enlightening experience for the students. They were made aware of the importance of yoga and the values imparted by the park. Through various programs focused on spiritual growth and self-realization, Divine Park emphasizes "nation-building through character-building." The core message of the park, “God is one; names and forms are many,” beautifully highlights unity in diversity.

Following this, the students visited the Spandana Rehabilitation Center located in Uppoor, Brahmavar. It was truly a heart-touching experience. Meeting the innocent and beautiful souls there left a lasting impression on the students. Despite facing mental challenges, the creativity of the residents amazed the visitors. They entertained everyone with their talents, and the students spent quality time wholeheartedly engaging with them. It was a day filled with inspiration, joy, and unforgettable memories.

The entire visit was thoughtfully coordinated by faculty member Farhana Imran, who ensured that the students not only gained knowledge but also developed a sense of empathy and social responsibility.
