Kuwait, May 18: The Abbasiya Konkani Families Kuwait (AKFK) proudly announces its mega Monthi Fest celebration – "Monthifestacho Rupyotsav", to be held on September 12 at Aspire School Auditorium, marking the 25th glorious anniversary of Monthi Fest celebrations in Kuwait.
A formal inauguration ceremony was held on May 17, during the AKFK committee meeting. The gathering was graced with a solemn prayer led by Fr Avil Rosario, spiritual director of AKFK.










































AKFK president Norbert D’Souza extended a warm welcome to all esteemed guests and committee members, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their continuous support over the years.

This milestone event will feature renowned overseas artists from Mangaluru along with celebrated local talents from Kuwait, coming together to deliver an unforgettable cultural experience for the community.
Moreover, the event stands as a noble initiative to support Sean Ashram – a residential and rehabilitation centre for mentally and physically challenged, aged, and orphaned children across India, located in Belthangady, Mangaluru.
The short inaugural programme was conducted by Rony Lobo, and the formal vote of thanks was delivered by Herald Fernandes.
