Udupi, May 10: SEECO and U B Fruits to hold Mango fair 2025 at the premises of Agricultural and Horticulture department Doddanagudde Udupi, from May 14 to 18.

Abdulla Kunhi, from UB fruits, addressing the media in the press meet held on May 10, informed that, “A wide variety of mango types will be displayed and made available for sale. Locally grown varieties such as Benet, Apus, Mundappa, Kadri, Pairi, Collector, and Kalappadi will be available for purchase by customers and widely loved mango varieties from across Karnataka such as Mallika, Malgova, Neelam, Sindhura, Banganapalli, Kesar, Dussehri, and Sugar Baby will also be available for public purchase at this event.”

The fair will be inaugurated by Honorable speaker of the legislative assembly U T Khader, along with district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, MP Kota Srinivas Poojary and MLA Udupi Yashpal Suvarna. President of Urban Development Authority Dinakar Heroor, district commissioner Dr Vidya Kumari, Zilla Panchayat CEO Pratheek Bayal, superintendent of police Dr Arun and others will also participate in the inaugural program.

Seeco and UB Fruits, renowned for over 30 years in the mango trade, have consistently engaged in numerous social activities, with permission and support from the Udupi Horticulture Department, organized this grand Mango Fair in the department premises. For the past 30 years, Seeco and UB Fruits have been participating in mango auctions and have vast experience in purchasing directly from farmers’ orchards and conducting quality trade. This year, driven by their passion and with official approval, they are organizing this event to offer fresh and healthy mangoes to all customers in the district.
