Bahrain, May 6: Kannada Sangha Bahrain has elected a new Executive Committee for the term 2025-26.
The new committee, led by president Ajith Bangera, was elected unanimously at the annual general meeting held on May 2.
The newly elected executive committee comprises the following members:


* President: Ajith Bangera
* Vice president: Nithin Shetty
* General secretary: Ramprasad Ammenadka
* Assistant general secretary: Harinath Suvarna
* Treasurer: Eshwar Anchan
* Assistant treasurer: Pulikeshi
* Cultural secretary: Harini Uthkarsh Shetty
* Assistant cultural secretary: Harish Gowda
* Sports secretary: Nithesh Shetty
* Committee member: Lokesh Samay
* Committee member: Harishchandra Gowda
* Committee member: Purushotham Jogi
The dedicated team will lead the Sangha in its mission to promote Kannada language, culture, and community spirit in Bahrain.
Bangera expressed his gratitude for the trust placed by members in the new committee.
"We are deeply honoured to have been chosen to serve the Kannada Sangha Bahrain. We are committed to building upon the excellent work of the previous committee and to further strengthen our community bonds, promote our rich cultural heritage, and organise engaging programmes for all our members," he stated.
The outgoing president Amarnath Rai and executive committee will work closely with the new team to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities in the coming weeks.
The Kannada Sangha Bahrain looks forward to an exciting year under the guidance of this new leadership, with renewed enthusiasm for fostering Kannada language and culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
