Mangaluru, Apr 30: A comprehensive survey of all Scheduled Caste (SC) communities will be conducted from May 5 to 17 to facilitate the implementation of the internal reservation matrix, said Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner (DC) Mullai Muhilan.
As many as 101 castes have been identified under the SC category. The survey will collect detailed social, educational, and economic information. To ensure the smooth execution of the survey, 2,046 teachers have been trained and assigned to specific areas under the supervision of designated officers.
In addition, a separate control room has been set up to oversee the survey process. An app has also been developed, and a dedicated helpline has been established to provide assistance and resolve queries during the survey period.
