Udupi: Hotel manager from Santhekatte succumbs to injuries after bike accident

Udupi, April 21: Praveen Salyan (44), a resident of Santhekatte and manager of a hotel in Manipal, who was injured in a bike accident on Sunday, passed away on Monday, April 21, after failing to respond to treatment.

According to sources, Praveen was on his way to his wife’s house in Aaroor on a bike when a calf suddenly crossed his path, causing him to lose control and be thrown onto the road.

 

He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.

He is survived by his wife, father, two sisters, two brothers, and a large circle of relatives and well-wishers.

    RIP.One doesnt know when call comes ,without warning.Very sad .He is so young.A calf left alone without tie took his life.One has to be careful always on bike riding.Dangerous.May his soul rest in peace .Heartfelt sympathies to his family.Most of the accidents are with bikes on our narrow roads
