Mangaluru, Apr 20: An 18-year-old girl, identified as Yallamma, daughter of Shivaputrappa from Koppal and a resident of Kattapuni in Bajal, has been reported missing since April 14.

According to reports, Shivaputrappa had left for daily wage work in Ullal's Azad Nagar around 7 am, while his wife had also gone to work as usual. Yallamma was alone at home during that time. However, when her parents returned in the evening, they found the house locked from the outside, and Yallamma was missing. The lock handle was found placed nearby, and her mobile phone was switched off.

Despite searching in all possible places, the family has been unable to locate her.

Yallamma is described as being around 4 feet tall, with an oily black complexion, a stout build, and a round face. She was last seen wearing a churidar and speaks Kannada.

The police have requested anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Kankanady town police station.
