Udupi, Sep 12: Rosy William Pinto, wife of renowned lawyer Shirthadi William Pinto, passed away on Thursday, September 12. She was 72 years old.

Rosy was found dead in her bathroom, and the incident came to light when her children, unable to reach her by phone, became concerned and attempted to contact her multiple times.

Rosy William Pinto had a long career serving at Nittur School, where she was well-respected and admired.

    I am extremely sad to hear this.... You were that one person aunty who kept giving me a call, you would message me and always had a word of encouragement and praise me endlessly saying I am very talented.. While you yourself were one such talented human being, you knew to value other's.... The last you spoke to me over the phone you told me to stay in touch with you, to come over to your home and spend some time with you. I feel very sad that I wasn't able to stay in touch with you from post Independence Day. You sure have touched the heart's of many... My heartfelt condolences to her 2 children, daughter's in law & her grandkids.. This sure has brought a huge shock to you'll when its come as a shock to me itself.. Praying for God's strength.
