MP Prajwal Revanna likely to be arrested after court rejects anticipatory bail plea

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, May 30: The situation surrounding incumbent Hassan MP and BJP-JD(S) Lok Sabha candidate Prajwal Revanna is reaching a critical point as his arrest is anticipated following the rejection of his anticipatory bail by a special court. Prajwal, accused of sexual harassment and rape involving multiple women, had his bail application quashed by the Special Court for Elected Representatives.

Prajwal, who is currently in Munich, Germany, is scheduled to return to India on May 30, with an expected arrival in the city on May 31. Sources indicate that Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials plan to arrest him upon his arrival at Kempegowda International Airport. His departure to Germany occurred shortly after he cast his vote on May 27. Subsequent to his departure, videos allegedly showing Prajwal involved in sexual harassment were widely circulated on social media.

The case has also implicated other family members. Prajwal's father, H D Revanna, has already been arrested and released on bail. Prajwal’s mother, Bhavani Revanna, is also under scrutiny, with her bail application due for review on May 31, coinciding with Prajwal's anticipated return.

The special court for elected representatives issued an arrest warrant for Prajwal on May 18, following a request from the SIT. Additionally, Prajwal has been expelled from his political party, Janata Dal (Secular) or JD(S), in light of the scandal.

I am almost sure Prajwal is not going to come to India. He can book and cancel seat reservation any number of times. He is just playing his "Hide and Seek" with the SIT Team. All this is a game plan of HDD family.

First of all take him for health check up. Usually immediately after arrest they complain chest pain. This is common in India. Take all his blood test samples. Hand it over to SIT. otherwise they may change like in Maharashtra car crash incident.

Come another 3 to 5 years he will be again among the elite political clout.... See Jarakihole, Udupi Bhatta and Abhishek Singvi although their actions seem more private and non severe type.... Problem in our society is there will be ardent supporters even for the worst criminals... He will come, spend gala time in the prison once public memory fades and walk away with series of bails... Even though this issue has made us all ashamed over a period of months and years more exciting news will take the shine out o this subject....
