Mangaluru, May 28: Two-time Indian national rally champion Ashwin Naik unveiled the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor at United Toyota Padil on Tuesday, May 28.
Ajith briefed the audience about the features of the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, while two Taisor customers were honored by being presented with saplings.
Toyota, the largest automaker in the world, sold over 11 million vehicles globally in 2023, securing its position as the world’s top-selling automaker for the fourth consecutive year.
Toyota vehicles are renowned for their quality, durability, and reliability. The Taisor, a compact SUV, comes with three types of engines: a 1-liter petrol turbo engine, a 1.2-liter petrol naturally aspirated engine, and a 1.2-liter petrol engine with a CNG kit.
The Taisor's 1-liter turbo intercooler engine, with 3 cylinders, generates an impressive torque of 147.6 nm and power of 73.6 kW, enabling quick acceleration.
The Taisor features mild hybrid Neo Drive technology, where the lithium-ion battery provides extra torque during acceleration. It also boasts a head-up display, paddle shifters, cruise control, wireless mobile charging, UV-protective green window glasses, request sensors, a push-start button, over 55 I-Connect features, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, vehicle stability control, hill hold control, a 360-degree camera with parking sensors, automatic climate control, and more.
The Taisor is available in five exterior colors: Lecent Orange, Gaming Grey, Café White, Sporting Red, and Enticing Silver. It comes at an attractive price range, with the ex-showroom price starting from Rs 7,73,500 for the base variant to Rs 13,03,500 for the top variant.
