Kasargod: Mortal remains of garage owner found in roadside drain

Kasargod, May 24: The mortal remains of a garage owner were discovered in a drain by the side of the road on Friday May 24 at Bandadka.

The deceased, Ratish (42), resided near the petrol pump and worked as an ambulance driver. On Thursday night, around 9:30 pm, Ratish had left home on his scooter. His body was found the following morning. It is suspected that he may have lost control of the scooter and fallen into the drain.

The body has been taken to Kasargod General Hospital for post-mortem examination. Bedadka police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
