Bantwal, May 24: The mortal remains of a man, who died 18 days ago and was buried on the same day, will be exhumed by Vittal and Manjeshwar police following a complaint by the deceased's brother, who suspects foul play.

Ashraf (44), a resident of Sunkadakatte Marjipalla, died on May 6. He ran a small shop near his home. On the night of May 5, Ashraf went to bed after having dinner and was found dead the next morning. Ashraf’s wife informed everyone that he had died of a cardiac arrest. Later, Ashraf was laid to rest at Rahmania Juma Masjid of Kanyana Bandithadka.

Ibrahim, Ashraf’s brother, was in Pune when Ashraf died. Now, suspecting foul play in his brother’s death, he has filed a complaint with the Manjeshwar police. The body will be exhumed for forensic examination.

As his brother says is also looks bit suspicious. How can wife say he died of heart attack? Is she a doctor and has any valuable points? In India as soon as a person dies will be done his last rites without informing the officials and then go to inform village or Panchayat. I find like in other countries first a doctor should confirm his death whether a natural or any unnatural death. Lot of people kill under alcohol influence their family members or to get the money or assets before they plan to give to their family members .Hope this case will bring more light into the case.RIP.to the dead. After a week is difficult to find the reason ?
