Mustering process for Lok Sabha elections held in Mangaluru, Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 25: With less than 24 hours to go before the polling for the Lok Sabha elections, preparations are in full swing in the district to ensure everything goes smoothly. On Thursday April 25, polling officials and personnel deputed on poll duty reported at the mustering and de-mustering centers in Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi.

Mustering and de-mustering was done at St Aloysius PU College for Mangaluru North and Canara high school and higher primary school Urwa for Mangaluru South.

The officials held the mustering process at in St Aloysius PU College for Mangaluru North and Canara high school and higher primary school Urwa for Mangaluru South in Dakshina Kannada district. Similarly, mustering process began in Udupi at St Cecily 's institutions Brahmagiri, Danda Theertha institutions Kaup, Bhandarkar’s arts and science college Kundapur, and Kabettu APM first grade college Karkala.

Dakshina Kannada boasts a total of 18,18,127 registered voters, comprising 8,87,122 males, 9,30,928 females, and 77 transgender individuals, with the highest concentration observed in Mangaluru South, amounting to 2,52,643 voters.

Udupi-Chikkamagaluru has a total of 15,85,162 registered voters, comprising 7,68,215 males, 8,16,910 females, and 37 transgender individuals, with the highest concentration observed in Chikkamagaluru, amounting to 2,32,210 voters.
