Mangaluru: St Agnes College’s Shivani Monteiro, Jennifer Sequeira shine in ACCA exams

Mangaluru, Apr 16: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievements of its graduates in the March 2024 Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) examinations. Among them are Shivani Monteiro, daughter of Valentina Monteiro, and Jennifer Sequeira, daughter of the late Joachim Sequeira and Dr Shaila Merlin Sequeira, who have successfully cleared all their papers, earning the esteemed title of ACCA affiliates.

Shivani Monteiro, now working as a tax analyst at EY, has truly shone by securing the seventh rank worldwide and third rank in India in the financial management paper of the ACCA exams for the December 2022 session. Despite starting her journey in the science field, Jennifer Sequeira made a switch to pursue ACCA and completed the course in just two years. Today, she serves as an accounts trainee at Winman Software, Mangaluru.

Joining Shivani and Jennifer in their success are present St Agnes College students who have demonstrated excellence by clearing their respective papers in the ACCA exams. Among them are Sandria, Osmine, Swathi, and Khushi, who excelled in the financial reporting paper, Sheryl Sequeira in the audit and assurance paper, and Sherlita Monteiro in the advanced financial management paper.

These achievements fill St Agnes College with immense pride and serve as inspiration for aspiring professionals.
