Public should unite and get down roads to resist these types of murders from goonda drivers otherwise these drivers won't learn lesson.

I wish the Gulf strictures worked here where both the owner and driver of the bus have to cough up blood money (amount to be decided from the aggrieved deceased family members) otherwise let them be thrown behind bars till they pay the last penny. This will never happen in our incredible India. 😪 Mangalore drivers are tapori hooligans.

@Joseph; if one takes the statistics of the number of fatal RTAs in DK and extrapolates it to a highly populated and congested city like Mumbai or New Bombay, the figures for DK are extremely shocking.... and worrisome for anybody who ventures out with a vehicle, especially two wheelers are a strict NO NO on these deadly roads

Only solution is for the public to first thrash the driver and conductor before the cops arrive, this is the only deterrent. These bus drivers in Mangalore / SK are MANIACS. They lack basic education, get Driving Licence’s paying bribes, the owners encourage rash and negligent driving by these goons to get maximum collection. Bus lobby & politicians and bureaucrats, politicians, are least bothered about deaths on the road -

Easier said than done. Show me one case where you've seen public manhandling a conductor or driver. Before they decide, they would've urinated in their pants. If it was in Bombay, public would've taken the law in their own hands and meted out instant justice .... even to the extent of lunching the owner of the bus too. This is called instant justice. Mangalore people are cowards, fit to wear bangles in their hands. Good for nothing lot.

as usual the buzdil public watches...says shey...paapa and walks off....till the driver responsible for this accident, if it is his fault is thrashed the problem will not get solved...i am not advocating hooliganism...but surprisingly that is the only way that works with thick skinned people like private bus mafia of dk and udupi
