Kundapur, Apr 5: A car left abandoned beside the main road at Koteshwara in the taluk for several days has sparked suspicion and rumours among the general public.
The vehicle in question is a Maruti Alto with registration number KA 19 P 1165. Local residents lack any information regarding the car's owner or purpose.
It remains unclear whether the owner parked the car hastily and departed elsewhere or abandoned it for another reason.
Villagers in the vicinity are urging the police to take immediate action.
