Mumbai: Superfast Mail Express to Udhna (Surat)-Mangaluru Junction - Booking starts from Apr 5

Mumbai (RBI), Apr 4: In order to cope with the extra traffic of Mangalore passengers, Western Railway will make the summer (Weekly) special Train two days a week and start the Mangalore Junction (Kankanady) service via Konkan Railway on Sunday and Wednesday. The ticket booking for this train, which will start from Udhna in Gujarat and reach Panvel directly from Vasai Road, is available from Friday, April5 at the counters of all railway stations and online.

Train No 09057/ 09058 This Special Fare Special Train Service will start from Gujarat Surat Udhna and will travel Mangalore Junction (Kankanady). The service will be start from this coming Sunday, April 7 to June 5. As a superfast mail expresses train, this special train will make a total of eighteen journeys (trips). Train number 09058 will travel to Mumbai every Monday and Thursday.

From Sunday, April 7, train number 09057 will depart from Udhana at 8 pm and will reach Mangalore Junction at 7.00 pm on Monday. Udhna, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road (11.10pm) from there direct to Panvel (12.50am), Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplon, Sarvada, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajpura Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavli , Sindhudurga, Kudal, Samvatwadi, Trivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Cancona, Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumata, Murdeshwar, Bhatkala, Mookambika Road Bindur (at 01.48 pm), Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki, Suratkal etc. halts at railway stations. Thus Mangalore Junction will reach Kankanady (at 07.00 pm), Railway said in a release.
