Udupi, April 4: As many as 13 candidates have filed 19 nominations to contest the Lok Sabha elections for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency.
K Jayaprakash Hegde filed his nomination as Congress party candidate, while Kota Srinivas Poojary submitted the papers as BJP candidate.
Among the others who filed their nominations include K T Radhakrishna as Bahujana Samaja party candidate, Supreet Kumar Poojary as Janahitaa Party candidate, Shabareesh R as Karunada Sevakara Party nominee, L Ranganath Gowda as Karnataka Rashtra Samithi party candidate. M K Dayananda as Proutist Sarva Samaja Party nominee, Sachin B K as Uttama Prajakeeya party candidate besides Sudheer Kanchan, Vijaya Kumar M G, K R Kusuma Raj Ballal and H Suresh Poojary.
