Puttur: Man missing since two years, complaint filed

Puttur, Mar 2: A man who went to Ayodhya two years ago has not yet returned to his native place of Keyyur in the taluk. Police have sought public help to trace the missing man.

Balakrishna Shetty (66), resident of Deraje Mane of Keyyur village is the person who is missing. He had left his home on February 3, 2022 at 8 am saying that he is going to Ayodhya. After reaching Ayodhya by train he had called up his brother in law Dinesh Rai. Later, he was in touch with his daughter for 15 days. However, he went out of contact since then as per the complaint filed.

Balakrishna Shetty is fair, 152 cm tall, has grey/black mixed hair, round face and medium built. He is able to speak Kannada and Tulu. A case is filed in Puttur rural police station.
