Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Feb 26: A young man lost his life after falling from the second floor of a building while painting on a ladder at Shaktinagar.

The victim, identified as Mohith Poojary (26) from Kudupu Konchadi, had been engaged in painting work at the residence of Mangaluru-based decorator Chandrashekar for the past 15 days.

The tragic accident occurred while Mohith was painting the exterior wall on the second floor. The ladder he was standing on slipped, causing him to fall to the road below. Despite sustaining serious injuries, Mohith succumbed to his injuries before he could be transported to the hospital.

A complaint regarding the incident has been filed by Mohith's uncle at the Kankanady police station.

NO REGULATIONS, NO LICENCING, NO LAW that's what leads to all accidents in India. Who is responsible for this Painter's accidental death. Any person claiming to be an Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, and Granite/Marble layer or Mason must be regulated and issued with a legal licence to work independently and having a valid life insurance This works in favour of the worker and in case of his accidental injury or death.
